Flight Deck Basic is the first course in the suite of Flight Deck courses and provides the aviation student the key vocabulary and grammatical structures used during aviation training and post training environments.

Flight Deck Basic uses the the latest Learning Management System (LMS) which brings the latest technology to the heart of the Flight Deck Basic course and enhance the study experience.

It is specifically designed in 5-modules to develop the technical language skills necessary to interact in English with training manuals, pilots, flight instructors and ATC.

Students move through the Flight Deck Basic program at their own pace and in conjunction with their working environment.

Integrated Face to Face

Language Classes

All CAEA students studying the Flight Deck Basic, Advanced and Flight Deck Pro courses have the opportunity to take face to face classes with a qualified Compass instructor in a private face to face class.

Each class will be delivered live online through either Apple's FaceTime, Microsoft Teams or Zoom platforms.

Each class will be 40-minutes long and will focus on the language development most important for you, the aviation professional.

Classes can be purchased individually or in  class sets and once purchased the CAEA administration team will work with you to arrange a suitable, local time, to meet together, no matter where you are in the world.
